Specific Strengths
RIAL has acquired a special security status with the Australian security authorities in order to be entrusted to undertake secure handling on their behalf. A high proportion of the inert security classified components are moved by air so RIAL has developed a significant expertise in the secure handling of these components by air to and from Australia.
RIAL has also developed an extensive network of contacts, agents and suppliers in the surface movement by road, rail and sea of explosives and ammunition and security classified materials within Australia and New Zealand and to and from South East Asia, Europe and USA.
As part of the Ridgeway Group, RIAL has access to extensive resources in other countries and this has enabled it to become a significant supplier to the Defence and Commercial Explosives industry in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
